Healthy in between snacks

  • Make up your own Jungle Mix from Seeds (sesame, sunflower & pumpkin), Nuts & Dried Fruit (Dates)
  • Nuts must not be salted
  • Fruit with a handful of nuts (the protein takes away the hunger)

Almonds are the healthiest choice of nuts

Healthy food choices

  • Avoid Aspartame – used in  sweeteners and “Light” drinks

Rather use Xylitol, Stevia or Honey (in moderation)

  • Make your own fresh fruit juices with a juice extractor, it contains all the healthy enzymes!

If you have to use shop juice, thin it with water (too much fructose spikes bloodsugar levels) and buy the fresh ones from the fridge, the ones on the shelves have been pasteurised and have lost all their good nutrients.
